IMPERIAL CITIES

Day 1: Casablanca
On arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat
In the morning, you’ll visit the city centre, the economic capital of Morocco, the harbour district, the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and view the Great Mosque of Hassan II before heading on to the capital, Rabat.

At Rabat, you will see Mechouar, the Mausoleum of King Mohamed V, the Oudaia Kasbah that overlooks the mouth of the Bou Regreg River, the Hassan Tower and the Necroplis of Chellah that is situated in the Roman ruins of Sala Collonia.

After this, you can head to your hotel for a rest and a meal.

Day 3: Rabat – Meknes – Fés
Depart for Fés. Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idris. Continue to Meknes and see Bab Monsour, the most preserved gate in Morocco, Hari Souani and the old medina.

Day 4: Fés
Whole day for the visit of Fés, the oldest imperial city which was for centuries a cultural and religious center and home of the most beautiful monuments of Moorish art, explore the medina and souks.

Day 5: Fés – Marrakech
Breakfast. Departure to Marrakech. The route towards Marrakech is full of small characteristic villages of the Middle Atlas, Ifrane, Knenifra, Kasbah, Tadla and Beni Mellal. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 6: Marrakech
A full day devoted to exploring Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, with the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace and the Menara Gardens. During the afternoon visit the souks, the winding little streets and the Djeema El Fna Square with its various and continuous entertainment. Tonight, enjoy a Diffa Fantasia dinner served under caidial tents at the well known Chez Ali restaurant.

Day 7: Marrakech – Casablanca
Morning at leisure, before returning to Casablanca.
