Ourika Valley  is a very famous and relaxing one Day Trip from Marrakech. Despite it being only 1 ½ hour drive from Marrakech, this beautiful green valley is one of the most pristine valleys in Morocco, spreading between the first foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, extending along the River. We will drive through T’nin Ourika village, which is the nerve center of the whole area. Here people come every Monday to the Souk (local Market) to sell their goods and buy all their needs. It’s also the place to exchange the latest news of the area. We continue our drive up to the mountains, where we will see hundreds of Berber villages with houses made from mud and straw. Here few things have changed the last hundred years – except thousands of satellite dishes on the roofs. Donkeys and mules are still the main means of transportation. You will enjoy a guided walk to the waterfalls at Setti Fatma, followed by at visit to the herb garden, where locals will serve you traditional mint tea. As the perfect ending before heading back to Marrakech, we go for lunch in a local restaurant.
