OUZOUD WATERFALLS

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY – MUST-SEE-SIGHT – GUIDED WALK – BOAT TOUR

One of Morocco’s most beautiful sights the complex network of waterfalls cascades over 110 metres – one fall into another through three major and several minor drops. The surrounding landscape is made up of idyllic green valleys, orchards and the dramatic gorges of the El Abid river.

After the 3 hour drive from Marrakech through amazing scenery, a local guide will take us on a breathtaking walk from the top of the falls through a shaded path of olive trees to the river below. Here you will have a chance to catch a small boat tour on the river to see the falls up-close. Popular with Moroccan tourist the river is also the perfect place for at nice swim.

If you’re lucky a beautiful rainbow may appear at the bottom of the falls and the resident Barbary apes may make an appearance to drink from the river.

After we finish our walk we go for lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and then return to Marrakech.
